Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation

Born in 1957, in Taldykorgan Province, Kazakhstan.

1994 – acquired higher legal education. Graduated from the Rostov Higher Police School.

1975 – 1977 – served in the Soviet Army.

1979 – 2003 – worked as a police officer, inspector, detective of the criminal investigation office, Senior detective, Deputy head of unit, head of unit, head of Grozny Department of internal affairs of the North Caucasus Administration for transport.

2003 – 2004 – Chechen Republic Minister of Internal affairs.

From 2004 to February 2007– President of the Chechen Republic.

According to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of February 15, 2007 № 173 appointed Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation.

I Class True State Counselor of Justice, PhD, Colonel-General of Justice.

Holds state awards, including the Order of Courage, the Order "For Services to the Fatherland» IV degree and the Medal "For Distinction in the Protection of Public Order".

According to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of October 12, 2011 awarded the Order of Honour.
